Alani came to us through an animal surrender call — a situation where her former owner, due to personal circumstances, could no longer keep her. As a foster-based rescue, moments like these are both urgent and delicate. We can only step in when we have foster homes ready, which is why having a strong, responsive foster network is absolutely essential to the work we do.
Through a single Instagram post, Alani's story reached Savannah — thanks to a friend who shared it via DM. Savannah immediately stepped up, rearranging her week so Alani would have a safe place to land. While previous reports described Alani as anxious and restless, once she settled into Savannah's home, it was clear those worries didn't define her. Alani was calm, peaceful, and incredibly well-behaved — and the bond between the two was instant. One day turned into one week, and before long, Alani officially became an official foster fail!
