In consideration of being permitted to participate in a RARE event, I acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity; interaction with dogs and puppies; exposure to animal dander, saliva, urine, feces, and allergens; bites, scratches, falls, weather conditions, heat-related illness, dehydration, insect bites, and other foreseeable risks.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, release and hold harmless Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE), its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, foster families, sponsors, event partners, venue hosts, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or
related to my participation in the event, except as prohibited by law.
I certify that I am physically able to participate and assume responsibility for my own health, safety, and personal property. In the event of an emergency, I authorize emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary and accept responsibility for any resulting costs.
I further grant RARE permission to photograph or record my participation and to use such images or recordings for promotional, educational, fundraising, and marketing purposes without compensation.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Waiver and Release.
