Stoney Has Been Adopted!

Stoney was found abandoned in Lawrence County with his brother. The kind family who rescued them already had two dogs and could only keep one—so his brother stayed, and Stoney came to us. We named him after a longtime friend and the little gray hairs on his muzzle, even though he was just a young adult around 2–3 years old.
At first, Stoney was terrified. He’d roll like an alligator anytime we tried to put a leash on him—but even in his fear, we saw his sweet temperament shining through. With a little patience and a lot of love, he started to blossom. Within just a couple of weeks, Stoney was confidently walking on a leash and even began approaching people for pets and attention.

At our 10th Anniversary Celebration, Stoney was the best-behaved pup in the crowd—and he stole quite a few hearts, even though he didn’t receive any adoption interest that day. Just a few days later, a wonderful couple submitted an application for a different dog, but we had a strong feeling that Stoney was the one they were truly looking for.
And we were right.
The moment they met him, it was love at first sight. Now Stoney is living his best life—exploring his new neighborhood, meeting extended family, and snuggling on the couch with his forever mom and dad.
Congratulations, Stoney! You deserve every bit of this happy ending.
