Sergio - Love heals all

When Sergio’s human dad passed away, his world was turned upside down. He was suddenly facing homelessness, shy and confused about why his best friend was no longer there. Thankfully, he found his way into a loving foster home. It only took a few days for Sergio to realize he was safe, and soon his sweet, affectionate personality began to shine through.

Sergio was adopted by a nice man, but just a few days later his adopter learned that a new job would require frequent travel. Knowing it wouldn’t be fair to Sergio, he made the difficult decision to return him to us. While it was a setback, fate had other plans in store.

Later that same week, we received an application from a wonderful family. From the very first moment Sergio met them, the bond was instant—it felt like he had finally found where he was meant to be. Today, Sergio has three human brothers, a mom and dad who absolutely adore him, and even a backyard pool! (We’ll have to wait and see if he decides to become a swimmer.)

After a difficult start, Sergio’s story now has the happiest ending—a forever family who will love him for the rest of his days.
