Adoption Update: Banjo & Fifi – A Bittersweet Full-Circle Journey

Banjo and Fifi, two stunning bobtail kitties with big personalities and even bigger hearts, were adopted together as kittens five years ago. Sadly, life took an unexpected turn for their family earlier this year, and in the month of April, Banjo and Fifi were returned to our care.

Adult cats often take longer to find homes, and while these two definitely got along, they weren’t a bonded pair—so we were open to adopting them separately if the right families came along. Still, we never expected what happened next…

To our surprise, we received two separate adoption applications—on the same day—one for Banjo and one for Fifi! Just a few days later, both were adopted into loving new homes… also on the same day.

Banjo and Fifi are now happily settling into their new lives. Each has a new feline friend to hang out with, and their new families are giving them all the love and patience they need to feel secure again.

It’s always heartbreaking when a pet loses the home we thought would be forever. But this is why we’re here—to be their safety net when life takes a turn. Because of your support, Banjo and Fifi got their second chance. Because of foster families, they had a soft place to land in the meantime.
