Meet Teddi!
At just 1½ years old and 33 pounds, Teddi is a beautiful Australian Shepherd mix with a whole lot of potential. She’s a bright, curious girl who is still learning about the world and gaining confidence every day.
Teddi didn’t have much handling or interaction with people while she was growing up, so she can be a little reserved when meeting someone new. Give her some time, patience, and a chance to get comfortable, and you’ll see just how quickly she can connect with her people. Once Teddi decides you’re her person, she forms a strong bond and really enjoys being with you.
Because she is such a smart girl, Teddi will thrive with an adopter who is willing to continue working on her socialization and help her build positive relationships with new people. She needs someone who understands that confidence comes with time and consistency.
One of Teddi’s best qualities is how wonderfully social she is with other animals! She is good with dogs of all sizes and all types of animals, making her a great candidate for a home with furry friends.
Teddi is also house-trained and will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely enjoy some outdoor time.
Teddi may need a little patience while she gets to know you, but she has so much love and potential to give. If you're looking for a smart, sweet girl who will continue to blossom with the right person by her side, Teddi might be the one for you.

All of our Adoptables are:Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoptionBREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care. As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
