🐾 Meet Hawkins! 🐾
Hawkins is the definition of strikingly handsome — and his personality is just as amazing! This gorgeous Husky is around 1½–2 years old and is full of fun, personality, and that lovable Husky charm. He’s great with other dogs, wonderful with kids, walks well on leash, and is always ready to be part of the action!
Hawkins is currently recovering from cruciate (knee ligament) surgery and has about 4 more weeks of restricted activity before he can return to his normal, fun-loving self. His current foster home has other dogs and kids, and as you can imagine, Hawkins REALLY wants to play! Keeping him calm has become a challenge, and the excitement is making his recovery more difficult than it needs to be.
Because of this, Hawkins needs a temporary foster home where he can relax, recover, and stay on his low-activity routine — or even better, an adopter who is willing to give him those final few weeks of recovery before getting to enjoy everything this awesome boy has to offer!
Once he is fully healed, Hawkins will be ready for walks, adventures, playtime, and all the fun that comes with being a young Husky. He has an awesome, happy personality and is ready to find the people who will make him part of their family forever.

All of our Adoptables are:Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoptionBREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care. As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability.
