Meet Taissa!

Taissa is a young American Rottweiler weighing around 75–77 lbs, and she is truly one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet. She’s goofy, joyful, and radiates sunshine everywhere she goes. Despite coming from a neglect situation, Taissa greets life with a big smile, a wagging tail, and a heart full of love.

She’s affectionate, playful, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Since coming into foster care, she’s grown more confident each day, though she can still be a little sensitive to quick or loud movements. With a calm, patient home, she truly thrives. Taissa is fully potty trained, comfortable in her kennel, and a pretty quiet girl overall.

Taissa gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love another large dog in the home. She’s an amazing playmate who can adjust her play style to match her dog friends.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, playful companion who’s equal parts cuddly and comical, Taissa may be your perfect match.

Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption

BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.

Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care. As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.

***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
