The annual giving day The Big Payback is returning on Wednesday, May 5! The fun starts at 6:00 pm and continues until 6:00 pm on May 6.
Donate before 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 6 and your gift will be matched by Allegiant Canine - up to $1,500 - and a pound of food from Nature's Select up to 500 lbs!

Rural Animal Rescue Effort is excited to participate and join in on the fundraising event that unites Middle Tennessee each year.
The Big Payback, hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, is a community-wide giving day which shines a spotlight on local giving and motivates Middle Tennessee to “give back” to nonprofits in a big way.
This 24-hour online giving event helps organizations – like Rural Animal Rescue Effort! – raise funds and bring awareness to pressing needs in our community. It’s also the prime time of year to give, because every gift you make could be boosted by cash prizes.
It’s clear to see the impact of The Big Payback. From 2014 through 2020, Middle Tennesseans have come together to raise nearly $21 million from a total of 147,642 donations for more than 1,000 nonprofits, schools, and religious institutions.
