Meet our Board of Directors

Trisha Crowley

Board of Directors

I have spent the better part of 22 years in animal rescue. I enjoy educating the community about our programs. Rescue truly is my life and my biggest dream is that we all work together to end suffering for all animals.

Board of Directors

I love saving dogs, spending time with my hubby and new pup and grabbing an iced coffee and sticky bun at Marcy Jo’s Bakery.

I love long walks with my dogs, a good book, a hot bath and time spent with friends. Oh! And tequila.

Ellen Ness

Events Director

My passions are dogs and events and I’m very grateful to RARE to get to combine them. I also love spending time with my church family and my friends, and I need Chick-fil-a like I need air.

“Dog hair is my glitter.”

Cattery Director

I love animals, and RARE allows me to spend lots of time with the cats.  So people call me the cat lady.

Kate Siller

Foster Coordinator

Animals have been my passion since I was a child! I have worked in the veterinary profession for over 8 years and have spent the last several years involved in animal welfare and rescue efforts. Fostering is one of my favorite ways to give back to animals and I am so grateful to help facilitate the foster program at RARE!

“Let us develop respect for all living things. Let us try to replace violence and intolerance with understanding and compassion. And love.”  ~ Jane Goodall
